In this Founder Spotlight, we sat down for a quick video chat with Romi Gubes, Co-Founder and CEO of Sensi.ai, the world’s first in-home virtual care agent, empowering long-term care providers to overcome some of the biggest challenges in the industry.
In the conversation Romi discussed the importance of building a “lean” way to explore things and build successful POCs, how to read user reviews and interview early customers to find the right PMF, and how they knew to shift from B2C to B2B2C, and more.
A bit about Romi:
As a senior enterprise software engineer, Romi brings over a decade of managerial, product and R&D experience from various fortune 500 companies. Prior to founding Sensi, Romi served as Senior developer at Vonage’s R&D innovation center where she led the mobile team from both the managerial and the technical perspectives. Prior to that, she served as backend developer at DellEMC and as a Developer & Integration engineer at Cisco. Romi serves as Mentor at Technovation – a 5-month mentoring program aimed at acquainting girls from the Neve Hadassah Youth Village (many of whom are new immigrants) with the world of entrepreneurship, and is a Strategic partnership manager of WMN – a nationwide community for female tech founders. Driven by her passion to truly impact the world for the better, Romi has been harnessing her wide tech background to develop revolutionizing solutions in the elderly care realm.
