Aviad (Avi) Eyal is co-founder and Managing Partner of Entrée Capital, an early stage VC fund with over 180 investments globally. Entrée Capital’s portfolio includes monday.com (NASDAQ:MNDY), Riskified (NYSE:RSKD), Coupang (NYSE:CPNG), PillPack (acq. By Amazon), Prospa (ASX:PGL), Breezometer (acq. by Google), Deliveroo (LON:ROO) and Cazoo (NYSE:CZOO), all of which Avi led the investments of. Avi is listed on the Forbes European VC Midas List (#1 in 2023) as well as on the Forbes Midas List of Top Global Investors (#30 in 2023).
Prior to starting Entrée Capital, Avi co-founded a number of successful businesses including Cura Software, Insight Technologies and ZenProp and provided the first capital to a number of companies in USA and Europe. He co-founded SigmaLabs, a non-profit accelerator helping young founders start their first businesses. Avi holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Natal. Avi serves on the board of SpaceIL, an Israeli NGO seeking to land a spacecraft on the Moon.

Ran Achituv has been part of the Israeli technology ecosystem for the past 20 years, from his time founding the IDF's Satellite Intelligence unit, through senior roles with Israeli tech giants such as Amdocs, as CTO, and Verint. Ran was a lecturer at the Computer Science department of the IDC Herzliya. Ran holds a Kellogg MBA and co-founded a number of startups.

Eran Bielski is a General Partner at Entrée Capital. He joined Entrée Capital in 2015, where he co-founded the SigmaLabs accelerator and ran a portfolio startup before specializing in investing and becoming a Partner in 2018. Prior to joining Entrée, Eran focused on financial restructuring and M&A's at JP Morgan. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A in business and finance from IDC, where he also worked as a guest lecturer and teaching assistant in entrepreneurship.

Martin Moshal has been a serial entrepreneur in the internet and software industry for more than 20 years building and exiting a number of startups. Martin studied Business Science at the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa. He founded the Moshal Scholarship Program which presently supports Higher Education students from disadvantaged backgrounds in Israel and in South Africa.

Adi Gozes is a Partner at Entrée Capital investing in startups in the Data, AI, DevOps, DevTools, Security and SaaS companies. She began her career as an officer in IDF’s elite technology intelligence unit, 8200, where she led software development teams. Subsequently, Adi spent a decade in product management and business growth for startups, leading the development of products in multiple areas of technology, including computer vision, DataOps, and machine learning. Prior to joining Entrée as a Partner, Adi was an investor at Samsung Catalyst Fund. Adi holds both a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA and graduated magna cum laude from Tel Aviv University.

Eyal Azoulay joined Entrée Capital as a Partner in 2024. Eyal is an entrepreneur with a proven track record in building and scaling startups globally. His last fintech startup, Rumble, was acquired by BNY Mellon in 2017. With the sale of Rumble, Azoulay joined BNY Mellon to head the 'Data as a Business' line. Eyal Azoulay has filled a number of CEO roles, and has significant expertise given his startup exits, and as an independent board member of startups.
Eyal holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Master of Engineering in Micro Mechanical Systems from Israel’s Technion - Institute of Technology.

Maor Israeli’s first interaction with the technology and startup world started during his internship at the Tel Aviv University Entrepreneurship Center while studying towards his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics. As an accomplished CPA having worked at Ernst & Young and then as a controller at Aleph VC, Maor now manages Entrée‘s finance and operations team in Israel.

Maya is an organizational psychologist with more than 20 years of experience. Having served in the Israel defense Force in military intelligence in an HR role, Maya went on to study a B.Sc. in Behavioral Sciences, then a MA. Social Psychology and finally a Ph.D. in Education Innovation. Before joining Entrée capital Maya was part of the AmDocs (NASDAQ) leadership team.

Amit Goldenberg comes from a rich start-up background, most recently as Head of Business Development at monday.com. Previously he served as the advisor and mentor to the CEO of Verbit.ai and as a mentor at Google. Amit founded, ran (for 15 years) and exited Insightel after graduating with a BA in Business and Economics and working in business development roles.

Eli Dubnov began his career as an advisor at PwC, later joining an Israeli Private Equity Fund focusing on impact investing. He was then recruited as an associate for McKinsey & Company, subsequently joining Entrée Capital as an investor in 2021. Eli holds a B.A. in Business Management from the IDC University in Israel and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Otniel Ben Amara is the VP of Data at Entrée Capital. Otniel specializes in data strategy and data architecture. Prior to joining Entrée, Otniel was a partner and the CDO at TASC Consulting. He also co-founded Dojo BI, a data studio for growing startups. In his 15 years of experience in data, Otniel worked with dozens of startups, enterprises, and government offices on their data challenges. In addition to managing Entrée Capital’s data platform, Otniel mentors the portfolio companies’ data leaders and teams. Otniel holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Reichman University.

Saul Levin is a South African who began his career in investment banking before joining the investment team of a prominent VC. Thereafter he spent time at Google in Dublin before he was hired by Entrée Capital as an investor. Tomer Niv began his crypto career in 2017 at the Israeli Crypto broker Bits of Gold after several business development roles in other sectors. Thereafter Tomer joined eToro and led their global Crypto business strategy for 3 years, before joining Entrée Capital, where he now heads Entrée's crypto efforts. Tomer is also a Mentor in the Web3 accelerator Outlier Ventures, a contributor to Forbes Digital Assets and the Editor in Chief of the newsletter Web3 Israel. Tomer is a certified attorney who holds LL.B. and LL.M. in Law and B.A. in Business Administration from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya).

Nir Sabato began his career as a lawyer and later as a consultant at Shaldor, a management and strategic consulting firm in Israel, where he worked on developing strategies for companies in various industries, from banking to aerospace. He later spent three years in business strategy positions with two Israeli tech companies, leading business growth and M&As in multiple markets. Nir joined Entree Capital as an investor in 2022. Nir holds an LLB. in Law from the Hebrew University in Israel, and is the creator and co-host of “The Big Picture”, a leading Israeli podcast on tech and strategy.

Prior to joining Entrée, Jessica established and shaped the marketing domain at TASC, an Israeli management consulting firm. She holds a B.A. degree in Communication and Management, specializing in Marketing, from Tel-Aviv University.

Yohana Avitan studied tax consulting and payroll accounting at Mishalev College, and received an accounting degree from the College of Management in Israel. Johanna joined Entrée after a period at Perryllion, a company that specialized in accompanying and providing financial services to startup companies. She currently works as a bookkeeper and payroll accountant in Entrée’s finance department.

Tully (Avital) Zaiontz Geva graduated from Tel Aviv University with a Bachelors in Law and Economics and was certified as an attorney in 2006.
She has over 15 years of management experience at companies across multiple sectors, mostly in marketing and sales roles.
Prior to joining Entrée, Tully served as the Head of Marketing at Adika and Golf Group.

Hadar Shani joined Entrée Capital in 2023 as Office Manager. She ensures the smooth flow of operations and office facilities management and cultivates a welcoming environment for all guests. She also provides support with event management and brings her "jack of all trades" experience of over 20 years in various industries such as advertising, marketing, administration, and management. Hadar studied Marketing and Public Relations in South Africa and has previously worked at McCann Ericson, Lend Lease, and TLV Partners.

Entrée Capital is looking for an Engineer in Residence to join our team!

We are looking for a data-oriented Senior Full Stack Engineer to be part of our small team of experts. As the Engineer in Residence, you will lead the development of innovative data products that inform both tactical and strategic decisions at our VC. This role combines diverse skills such as data engineering, web development, orchestration of large language models (LLMs), web scraping, business automation, and more. While you may not be an expert in every area, we expect you to embrace our team’s can-do spirit!

You will report to the VP of Data and collaborate closely with the investment team to create solutions that directly impact the success of our portfolio and investment decisions.

This is a unique opportunity for a tech-savvy individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, close-knit team, experimenting with diverse technologies and stacks, and operating with minimal bureaucracy. As an Engineer in Residence at Entrée Capital, you’ll gain great insights into the work of Israel’s leading investment team and develop a broad understanding of the startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement data pipelines and infrastructure for our core data platform.
Develop dynamic, scalable, and cost-effective web scraping services.
Design and implement LLM-powered decision support tools.
Implement business automation workflows for a variety of business applications.
Design and develop web applications, from backend to user interfaces, for our internal investment team.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Requirements:

Meaningful hands-on experience designing and implementing data pipelines.
Strong proficiency in Python and data processing.
Proficiency with data warehousing (e.g. using Prefect, DBT, Snowflake).
Experience with web application development in NextJs / React.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker).
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to think outside the box and develop unconventional solutions.

Preferred:

Previous experience in the venture capital or startup ecosystem.
Experience with AI/ML integration, including working with LLMs and AI-driven tools.
